It gets harder and harder to find the right words, to describe the mixture of classic and modern elements of the Essen-based gothic rock duo Aeon Sable – the perception of this form of music is too different. The predicate "witful" fits at least for the release strategy of Aeon Sable – after the debut "Per Aspera Ad Astra" was sold out as a CD after a short time, it is available as a free download on the internet. And also the new, single handedly developed album "Saturn Return" will for now first be released digitally only and, with a bit of delay, on vinyl in february 2013.


On rich 45 minutes, Din-tah aeon an N1n0 prove once more, that they understand their handcraft. Aeon Sable achieve once more the balancing act between 80s flair and progressive gothic rock, without becoming icky or drift away into popular clichees. Who likes harmonic melodies with many twirls, which haven’t deleted the dark 80s out of their musical memory completely and wants to devote himself to this melancholy, should risk both ears here.



The limited to only 333 copies Vinyl will be available from 12/12/12 on at the band website to preorder and on the same day the exclusive download version on iTunes will be released. From January 11th 2013 on, an edited version with a bonus track will be published as a download on AmazonMP3 and the vinyl as well as the download version will hit the stores on February 22nd.
