"The Long Dark Tea – Time Of The Soul" is the third, full release of Emanuel Ratti, the only member of Aethere. The rumour has it that the album was written in the 70's and its present shape is the result of mixing the earlier material with dark ambient similar to early records of Cold Dark Industry. And indeed, the album's content is heavy, depressive, full of emotions. Yet simultaneously, it is a great pleasure to listen to it. "The Long Dark Tea – Time of The Soul" is filled with climatic, beautiful, at times disturbing music. I think it will appeal to each and every lover of classic, depressive ambient.
