PROUDLY we can announce, that we´ve been able to rent the well known Club

"ESSIGFABIK"

at Cologne on

23.07.2010 !!!
The Friday before the Festival!

(Most of you should know that club from the legendary "EOD Dark Genesis" Parties)

So.. with that being said...
There will be a big party on 2 Floors on the Friday!

we collected a few well known DJs (beside ourselfs) which will give their best to serve you a "nonstop-dancing-night" you will not forget !!!

Mainfloor : <<< Electro, EBM, Industrial, Future Pop, Harsh Electro etc etc... >>>
2nd Floor : <<< Dark, Gothrock, Classics etc etc... >>>

Also there will be an Outside-Chilling-Area where you can relax ( from to much dancing..), smoke a Cigarette or even eat something!

LECTURES: DR. MARK BENECKE
Known as “Der Herr der Maden“ (The Lord of the Maggots) Dr. Mark Benecke, who is an adept at forensic studies from Cologne, gives an interesting insight into the world of forensic biology. In doing so he discusses the question: “What does a forensic biologist do and isn’t it disgusting?” and he also reports of “Two strange cases with insects on dead bodies.”

MUSICAL COMEDY: OLIVER KLEIN
With his legendary “Rocky Horror Show“, Oliver Klein presents songs from the grooviest musicals of all times. Adequate outfits mixed with other show elements will guarantee for a cheerful Saturday afternoon at this year’s Amphi Festival. On Sunday the scene-anchorman and comedian will present more extracts from his programmes. In addition to the star parodies there will also be a little improvisation and delicious cabaret. After this performance no one shall ever argue that the scene doesn’t have any humor&hellip

READING: CHRISTIAN VON ASTER
His spirit is a weapon, his thoughts are the ammunition. With a sharp tongue and a keen mind Christian von Aster reads: “Apocalypse au chocolat - eine gebäckwärtige Geschichte vom Ende der Welt“ (apocalypse au chocolat – a bakewards story of the end of the world)

MOVIE: WELLE: ERDBALL
After “Operation: Zeitsturm“ Welle: Erdball will present their new movie “Operation: Atahualpa“. The new creation stands in the best tradition of the classical adventure movies and will be shown for the first time in full length at the Amphi Festival 2010.

PRESENTATION: ABADDON MYSTICSTORE
The Abaddon team comes up with a big fashion special on Sunday afternoon at the theatre of the Tanzbrunnen. We won’t say much more now, just wait and see, what the Mystic Store from Dresden will be conjuring for you on stage!

INTERNATIONAL AFTERSHOWPARTY
Starting every day at 6pm, a total of 20 top DJs from all over the world expect you with their individual set lists for the ultimate gothic party in the theatre. Among them we have DJs from Belgium, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Poland and Switzerland plus DJ CHRIS of AGONOIZE who will ring in the big party on Saturday.

Additionally to the attractions in the theatre we again welcome the team of GOTHIC FAMILY.NET on the Amphi Festival. Their lovingly arranged kids programme also bestows a blackcolourful festival weekend of a special kind to our small Amphi fans. For the adults the Amphi Festival keeps the fitting sand pit as well. At least we recommend risking a side trip to our BEACH CLUB. 3500 m² of a sandy beach, comfortable canvas chairs and seductive beach bars provide a unique holiday feeling alongside the Rhine. It suits perfectly to get new strength for the next concert highlight! Last but not least the AUTOGRAPH SESSIONS with numerous artists and the large
SHOPPING MILE will complete the supporting programme of this year’s festival.
