Andy LaPlegua – Icon of Coil frontman and the creator of the project Panzer AG is concentrating on his latest production more and more. „Everybody Hates You”  is another shock for the EBM scene. I may openly say that it is one of the best albums of this kind I have ever heard. And now, something for those who know nothing about Combichrist. The band is by no means a continuation of Icon of Coil. Nor is it similar to Panzer AG.  If you're looking for that – skip it, cause „Everybody Hates You” is creating a newer, better style. Ravishing rhythms interlaced with harsh  Andy's vocals and sounds like drugs for our ears  - this is the album in short, the Meisterstück of the music industry. Aggressive EBM moving towards power noise promises something more than just another typical album. I wasn't disappointed in any way – I can't say if any track is better than the rest simply because they all are of equal quality, all perfect. Surely, “Everybody Hates You”  won't make troubles to Djs - all the tracks could be described as “floor busters” , inviting to dance. Aggression, rhythm, beat, perfectly chosen samples, ideally used vocals ... and many more features stand for what every electronic fan was waiting for. We may find the Combichrist's other side on the second CD, released as a limited version. If you don't like dancing, walking and humming the favourite track from  EHY for the whole day, well, start the second CD then and delve in an ambient creation. However, if you think that you will relax and rest from the aggressive electronics now, then you're completely wrong. The more you listen the more you realise that the feeling of being in an apocalyptic world of Combichrist is not an illusion.  Generally speaking, I recommend the album to anyone who likes electronics at least a bit. I haven't heard a better CD for a long time and I won't hesitate to say that it will have its place on my playlist for sure, either as a vinyl or EP or longplay - the album beats all the rest.
