Covenant is a name that implies extraordinary commitment, a certain grandiosity, and a bond stronger than blood.

Modern Ruin still a fresh memory, but Covenant is now already back in the studio working on a follow-up, tentatively titled Leaving Babylon. Featuring material that spans from Northern Light-era demos to brand-new creations, Leaving Babylon promises to be a bold new direction for the band. With new found spirit and energy Daniel Myer has decided to pursue his own projects with the very best wishes from Covenant and crew. Meanwhile the band has taken a break from lives hows to focus on the album. Only a few festival shows, including the sold out Amphi Festival Cruise on the Rhine, are planned before the album tour in September 2013 not to break the tension that the band is experiencing in the studio right now. Beat-heavy yet introspective; Leaving Babylon is Covenant’s sonic exploration into uncharted emotional waters.

It's the feeling of the melancholy of Sweden in the wintertime, the strange beat of electric hearts, and the longing for forgotten parties.


It's time to listen. It's time to heed the sound of the sirens. What are they telling us? Who is really playing the tunes we dance to?
