As it often goes with some artists, they provoke fierce discussions even before their new release is out .all the 'ohs' and 'ahs' are ubiquitous as every new CD by "such an artist" is taken uncritically.

Will I be lynched(?) Never mind. [Cat has nine lives..] To the point then: The CD we're talking about is the single of Diary Of Dreams, the formation of the (ex) master of gothic darkness . Why ex? Because the album features too little darkness.. it's rather mawkish and artificial.. Melodically it's rather good.. or perhaps it's too melodious?

Where has the dramatic black which was not embarrassing but giving thrills gone? Am O being brutal here? Yes. "The Plague" is harsh, almost rapacious... For such plague you should be grateful.. I should be grateful .. and I am! To the moment where the sentimental choruses thin the mini-apocalypse down... [Why???] the same story goes with "Allocution" - the ballad which is even more monotonous. I think Adrian can do much better... much better! Number 4 is "Traumtaenzer" which originally was placed on the album of 2002 "Freak Perfume?. Unfortunately it doesn't differ from the original version much...

There's much ado, but this is just a single! "Nekrolog 43" will be out on 26th October. I'm waiting for the full album. and for the concert on 19.01.2008 in Progresja. I personally don't agree for Diary Of Dream being treated by the critics in a nonchalant way while I have no arguments to defend Diary of Dreams which I used to treat as mine. Adrian! ?The Plague? can?t touch me mentally... Too little darkness..(!)
