Wave Gotik Treffen in just two weeks!

25th anniversary of Wave-Gotik-Treffen: dark-romantic celebrations that take part every year at Whitsun in Leipzig - Germany. Twenty-four years ago, two Gothic people from Leipzig had an unusual idea: They didn’t want to create yet another dark music festival but rather a supra-regional gathering of like-minded fellows for relaxed meeting, chatting and celebrating. When the 1st Wave-Gotik-Treffen took place in 1992 at the edge of Leipzig with about 2,000 visitors and just a handful of bands, it was unlikely to imagine that within a few years the WGT would become the largest meeting of Gothic people in the world, taking possession of a whole city every year at Whitsun. Now, the WGT exists for a quarter-century…from May 13th to 16th again more than 20,000 Gothics from all over the world are expected to come together again in Leipzig to celebrate the jubilee of Wave-Gotik-Treffen as the international gathering of the dark family. To start this 25th WGT properly, there will be a grand opening party already on Thursday, May 12th, starting at 8.00 p.m. It will take place at AbenteuerReich Belantis - an amusement park in the south of Leipzig. DJs will be inviting to dance at various locations on the area, among them veterans of the early days of Leipzig’s dark scene like the founders of WGT, Michael Brunner and Sandro Standhaft as DJ-team Moonchild. All fairground rides of the large amusement park can be used until midnight.

Arms and Sleepers in Poznań!

Arms and Sleepers - 10 Year Anniversary Tour!

In May 2016, Arms and Sleepers will celebrate their 10th anniversary during special, European tour featuring whole band, presenting material from all the previous works. Tour will include following countries:  Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Ukraine, Romania and performances on festivals like among others: Dunk! Festival and Off Plus Camera.
During this special tour Arms and Sleepers will perform as 4 members band, featuring leader and founder - Mirza Ramić and 3 guest musicians, playing on many instruments, like drums, guitars, keyboards. The group will perform live material almost from every album released in last 10 years.

Laibach in Katowice!

PW Events and Go Ahead agencies invite you to Laibach concert. Laibach is a well-known band in Poland. Their musical metamorphoses perfectly illustrate political changes that happened in Poland, starting from first visit of Slovenians in 1983 - time of profound totalitarism. The tour was called The Occupied Europe Tour'83 and it started their worldwide carrier. This time they come back to Poland for The Sound Of Music'16 tour, which celebrates 35 years of their stage activities. Concert will take place on 20 April in Mega Club in Katowice. Repertoire - the set will be made from classical compositions like: ‘Now You Will Pay’ or ‘The Great Divide’ and the tracks from their last album 'Spectre'. Tickets still available!

Almost all line-up for Wave Gotik Treffen

To this year's edition of Wave Gotik Treffen we have less than a month and a half. On this moment the festival confirmed 160 bands that will perform in Leipzig from 13 to 16 May. Probably in a couple of days to the line-up will be added some new groups, but for now festival promises to be great. Below you can see all the bands that are announced for now.

The Algorithm will visit Poznań!

Go Ahead agency invites you to The Algorithm concert. Man behind the project, Frenchman, Remi Gallego, will come to Poland on 8th April 2016 to perform in Pod Minogą club in Poznań.

Hexvessel in Poznań!

P.W. Events and Go Ahead agencies invite you for one and only concert of the Finnish band Hexvessel in Poland! 
Mat's McNerney crew will visit Pod Minogą club in Poznań on the 29th March 2016, to promote their newest release "When We Are Death", which had its premiere on January 2016. 
The album was released on Century Media Records license, through their own label Secret Trees. 
What can we expect? Certainly another, fair portion of psychedelic rock in a truly neofolk style. That is undoubtedly the trademark of McNerney's band!
