From the beginning of first track on new EP of Leaether Strip entitled When Blood Runs Dark it sounds very good. In this works we can hear amazing vocal, it's very sensual and creepy. When I heard it first time I felt pins and needles on my back. I have listened to this EP for a few times. Everytime I listen to a new album I look for good tracks to party to, which I'd like hear there. In this group for me should be: You Don't Look the Same, The Devils Daughter, Could ya Did ya, Go Ahead and When Blood Runs Dark. I think, that each of this titles is good for dance, and it brings the bodies of the dancers to move in dark rhythms and gloomy sounds. On this EP fans of industrial music can find calm tracks like The Devils Daughter or Go Ahead and other more energetic. The album When Blood Runs Dark is worth to recommend to all fans of dark and industrial music sounds. During the hearing this album I always dream about Leaether Strip concert in Poznan’s Old Slaughter House or other post industrial area. But for this moment we have EP When Blood Runs Dark. Probably in near future we can buy and hear a new LP with tracks composed by Larsen.
