CDs catalogue:
"TASTE OUR VOODOO" is composed from four slightly over twenty-minute tracks. Small parts recorded live, collected during two and a half of a year, by the American singer, poet, writer and actress Lydia Lunch and the French avantgarde instrumentalist Philippe.
It is music for a minor group of people - admirers of experimental electronics, avantgarde or just... noise. It is not useful if you want to listen to something on the way to school or work or among friends. However, if you fancy a taste of VOO DOO just close in a room, lay on the floor, close your eyes and tune in this album.
The soundtrack is dark and chaotic, Lydia’s "singing" changes from clear and sharp to a distant and disturbing. Scream changes to a lament and conversely. These dirty sounds have something in themselves artistically. It is certainly a unique, interesting and inimitable.
Strange and psychedelic enough, to taste it at least once.
