Smialek / Micinski project is back on stage. In a modified form and under a new name, Melancolia: Micinski will play in Krakow, 17th March in Antycafe. Their material is based on texts by poet Tadeusz Micinski, with accompaniment of industrial, new wave and ambient music. This evening we will hear also DJ set by DEV_ (Toxic Twinz).

Their material is based on texts by poet Tadeusz Micinski, with accompaniment of industrial, new wave and ambient music.The creators of the project, Pawel Szarek, Karol Smialek and Lukasz Marek are also musicians from Smialek band, which decided to end their career last Fall. As the Smialek / Micinski project they created music videos for the series "W Mroku Gwiazd" for promotion of Castle Party Festival 2012. During the festival we had occasion to hear both projects of composer Pawel Szarek with vocals of charismatic Karol Smialek. Melancolia: Micinski project announced another version of his work - with live orchestra, this Spring!
Poems by Tadeusz Micinski are surrealistic magic. Music created by Melancolia fits perfectly with the mood of texts. Melancolia: project Micinski is a kind of spiritual seance, recalling the poet's soul. For fans of poetry and dark music!
