Reizstrom - Invisible Force
After a two years break musicians of the German Reizstrom group presented their new maxi single to the world. "Invisible Force", because that is the title it has, presents four versions of the title track and a bonus in a form of "Fishes in My Pants" song. The latest release is a foretaste of the third album of the band - "Interferenz" which will be released on early June this year. Me Cha and Skip Intro (which are helped by Framework and Brazda Lui Novac) are presenting their listeners danceable and gentle pieces, enriched with distinctive vocal, which are very ear-catching. Although, that in principle we are listening to two songs in several versions on the single, actually they are mixed so well, that it seems, as if listening to different tracks.
Certainly an interesting fact is, that "Invisible Force" was the first song in the band's career, however it was waiting to be released right now. Therefore Reizstrom return to the roots of their musical activities, and thus show their fans (and those, who will just become ones), that from the beginning they know well, in what musical direction they are going to. It oscillates next to EBM, industrial or even dark electro. In the next songs melody encouraging to dance can be heard (certainly in the style of early musical achievements of Depeche Mode), aggressiveness and energy (that immediately brings to mind the songs of Kris & Cosey), mixed with a very balanced and toned male vocal, which is ideal for any form - both natural and completely mixed. The list of musical references could be long, as each musician is inspired by his great predecessors, and as each listener is looking in new pieces what he wants to hear.
Today we can say for sure one thing: maxi single is very good as a foretaste of the record – and how it is going to be the album, we will find out in a month.
