Recorded during the last tour around Germany, the album „Gastspiel” shows he amount of power which may be released during the concert live and he good contact with audience one may get thanks to the music. This is preview of the longplay album which is to be released the next year. Even greater attraction than the album itself will probably be the tour connected with it. The energy presented by Graf is unbelievable.
Honestly speaking, a deep, clear voice is a real rarity at this type of the concerts. As far as the album is concerned, the material is a mixture of the best recordings the Unheilig released + additional material included on the second CD. Everything is perfectly chosen and balanced in order not to extinguish any of the recordings ( although I personally enjoy one of them particularly). Very melodious and rhythmical pieces will make you dance although it is a guitar music, rather metal than electro. However, you can't forget that electro IS a part of all Unheilig's music - it adds more energy and catchy melodies to it.
Generally speaking, it is a very good CD, yet it has one disadvantage. During the performance one cannot hear that the recordings are actually live. It is quiet in the hall, the music is so clear that one could think it is a studio recording. It misses the general point of the whole album live.
