1st March in "W Starym Kinie" club in Poznan started the first edition of Vintage & Fetish Show, organised by Carrie and Wanilianna - bloggers, models, big pin-up and vintage fans. Main sponsor was the Pussy Project - enterprise that promotes education and sexual progress of women. Advertising of Vintage & Fetish Show started in January under patronage of Museum of Erotic, Museum of Erotism, Women Alternative magazine and Alternation.pl.
A lot of people came to see the Show, even though it was Thurdstay. Crowd of beautiful people in great, vintage style clothes - dresses, corsets, veils. especially women - unfortunately, men-part of guests hadn't as much invention. After 8 p.m Carrie and Wanilianna officially opened event. Planned prelection about fetish in art unforunately was canceled, but the artistic part of Show gave us fetish and art in brilliant form. We heard first chords of "Burlesque" movie soundtrack, champagne cork popped and club changed into paris cabaret from '30/40's. On a small stage with proffesional lights Pin Up Candy, burlesque star from Warsaw, presented her performance "Bodoir" She was dressed in white pearls and candle wax congealing on her legs.
After a while, a fashion show of Lady Carotta's vintage and pin-up dresses began. Beautiful clothes was presented by Jeany Kicz, Fiery Voluptas, Zoe-lin, Rockagirl, Vintage Girl, Silverrr, Ina von Black and Nina Holy. These models, bloggers - stars of polish pin-up - were introduced by announcers in a few words. Next, Pin Up Candy dressed in a turquoise corset and fur charmed audience by performing "I Put a Spell on You".
During the whole event we had occasion to see Irving Klaw's movies with Bettie Page and Crazy Horse cabaret with Dita von Teese, projected in club. After a longer drink break, models presented great products of Snow Black Corsets. Then, after another Pin Up Candy's show with soap bubbles, lottery-drawing of lucky ticket-numbers took place.
Their holders won great prizes - professional photo session from JBL Art Factory, souvenirs from Greta Vintage Store, CandyStore, Diva Dance Studio, Black Ribbon Linergie, Nylony.pl and LTX Clothing. Later, after Pin Up Candy's next performance with baloons, models presented LTX Clothing's products. Silverrr, Zoe-lin, Nina Holy and Rockagirl warmed up atmosphere even more. Artistic part of Show ended up with the last, hot perfomance of Pin Up Candy - "The Devil Wears Nylons" in stroboscope lights.
Audience watched the stage even from tables. Crowd and high temperature were surely bad side of party. After artistic part of show big part of people moved to second floor of club. Despite that, music didn't match the party theme, guests were sitting and talking even until midnight. You could hear positive opinions about the event. There is hope that there will be next edition of the party. Maybe in bigger place and with a little better organisation (we heard that planned best stylisation of party guests competition wasn't solved). Party was generally successful and surely worth of recommendation.
