Saturday evening on November 16, Warsaw. Cold, dark, windy and unpleasant that you even would not go out of the house. But there were good reasons, to go on that day to one from the city sidelines clubs - Progresja. The magnet was performance of European pioneers of the electronic music scene and synthpop - De/Vision (out of sentiment for the first time), and opportunity to meet many familiar faces (out of sentiment for the second time). Concert announced as one of the performances on tour to celebrate the formation’s 25th anniversary "25 Years, Best Of... Tour 2013" was giving hope for a really good event - appearance of the series "hit show of wishes". However, before De/Vision there was 10 kilometres on the road of physical distance to overcome by tram, many faces to say hello and give a hug, some cups of beer to try and two supporting bands to listen.

Concert evening was opened by our German neighbour - Janosch Moldau. The project so far completely unknown to me, so I did not know, what exactly you can expect from it, I was afraid it would be completely not my cup of tea. But you have to admit that first notes sounded very appealing - rhythmically and spontaneously. Those, who had hoped to collapse on that November evening in winter lethargy to the sound of gentle synthpop at the beginning of the concert could have failed ;-) I thought that as the first group starting the event, Janosch Moldau accomplished the task quite well.
In the meantime, however, I moved to the lobby to greet friends incoming to the concert and there I "stuck" effectively to the end of the show absorbed by greetings and conversations. Though from the main room came sounds of playing Germans, who then seemed to be much more quiet and monotonous. As a result all that part of the show merged into one synthpop "pulp". For the beginning 5, for the rest 3 - globally I estimate the performance on 4.

After a short break on the stage installed our familiar Das Moon. It was the first time I had the opportunity to see them live, because of the growing popularity of this band recently - apart from the fact that it is a result of participation in a commercial television program or simply a solid musical technique - my expectations for their performance were very high. Concert seasoned with good visuals and was very correct. The band gathered on their performance a bigger audience than Janosch Moldau. You could hear such hits as "I like it" or "Street" (singer Daisy encouraged fans next to the stage to join in), cult cover of "Das Model" from Kraftwerk's repertoire. Everything seemed to be ok, proper, but I must admit that, along with development of the performance I expected much more energy and a really strong impact. Concert’s setting and interaction with the audience 5, performance (including lack of desired volcano of energy) 3. However, I think, the group has potential, so now for the performance I give them 4 and credit of trust in the future, quoting "I like it".:)

Then there was time for the star of the evening, De/Vision. The crowd next to the stage did not leave any doubts who was in charge. To paraphrase one of the titles of formation’s track, to hungry fans the show was supposed to deliver flavor of the night (taste of the night). And so it happened. From an aperitif in the form of "The day before yesterday" starters like "Blue Moon" and "Strange Affection", to the multi-course music dinner in the form of "Try to forget", "I regret" or "Rage" to the dessert in the form of "Your Hands on my skin", which even after sounds faded and band descended from the stage, insatiable audience sang until De/Vision was called on stage once again. For the encore there were "Addict", "Time to be alive" and "Flavor of the week". And you have to admit to De/Vision that their concert along with every following track drew and addicted even more. The audience was grabbed and lost to the world - dancing, singing. For the whole and for the euphoria I give 5 - and finally once again to paraphrase another title I will say, that the musical feast was a real "Dinner with grace".:)
