What will happen if you mix classical music, electro music and vampiric atmospheres? Well, maybe Deuxvolt can explain us. "Union of Opposites", a good excuse to start a party with the experimental sound that they have, an interesting EBM, danceable bits and all the attitude of a Bram Stocker’s book. Opposite worlds in the same album, from the first track "Blackheart" you can listen to an orchestral beginning, slow and relaxing, but only 13 seconds, after that you have to be prepared for the most incredible danceable music, with perfect time for the instruments, the samplers and the atmospheres, Orchestral EBM.

"Dance with Ghost" a track that reminds the video game Silent Hill, using a deep atmosphere with alert sirens, the band give us a new experience on this second track, this song is full of power, guitars, samplers and the amazing voice of Olympia. "From The Stars", the name says all, futurist and atmospheric song, for moments is a slow track, but don’t lost the connection with the rest of the album, specially on the minute 1:30, maybe the best example of the finest work of this project.
"Lose My Soul", slow but danceable, maybe the people will not understand this song, but it’s Deuxvolt, maybe the best song of the album, the perfect mix of all the components of this project, and the best way to prepare our senses for "Goth" the fifth song, deepest, danceable and rhythmic, with lyrics that reflect the real soul of this song "… step by step I make my way…", and again the amazing voice work of Olympia, make this song one of the best song of the album. "Breathless", depressive atmospheres with the danceable sound of Deuxvolt and a strange message in French, make this song not only an electro song, it’s a romanthic electro song. The amazing work of the piano, on particular on this song, is one of the best on the electro music.
"…Why do my eyes hurt? … You’ve never used them before…" the amazing beginning of this classic song of Deuxvolt "God Of Himself", maybe one of the best works of the project before this album, is back, with more potency, what this album give to this song, hard, deepest and danceable, talk about Deuxvolt without talk about this song is a sacrilege. Do you remember "Evampire"? If you don’t, well, here’s another amazing song, maybe the best song that describe the idea of the vampirism in the music of Deuxvolt. "Devil vs Man" the best danceable song, from the beginning, without melancholy, only good music for the dance floor, maybe the Grendel’s fans will love this song.
"Dies Irae" or the best way to play an electro cover of a Mozart’s song, classical music, electro bits and a tragic atmosphere, and why not, the Electro Music is also culture. "Beyond the End", maybe is not danceable, is a song for being listen on a sofa, on a cold and rainy day, it’s only for listen to a finest work of Deuxvolt, with more melancholic lyrics and deepest atmospheres.

Since 2010, Deuxvolt wrote an independent and original history, between the underground and the mainstream, between the electro music and the classical music, using vampiric atmospheres and incredible vocals and breaking vocals. It’s not another dark/goth electro band, is Deuxvolt and we have to listen more independent artists, the independent scene needs more artists like Deuxvolt, artists what write their own history.
