The most important in music is a period, the one that shapes it, a large part of it was tape trading, so that fans could get known to the scene, it was the turn of 80’s and 90’s, today is the twenty-first century, and I think that in Poland it would be really needed, but more intrusive. It can’t be deny that our Polish society is a bit fooled by the commercial media and what they serve us, and they serve a porridge with milk instead of roasted alive bitches on bringhauser, for true connoisseurs! Here by a pure chance I discovered an Opole formation Echoes Of Yul, which was recommended to me by a friend of a music store (long live the studio 36). What is now a formerly single man, now increased by another member EOY? It is a miller’s music, it is a desecration of silence for the sake of the silence itself, building its new layers on a level of psychedelic fantasy overwhelmed with a deep, ergot breath. The opening Midget, begins the work with delicate sounds, completely without betraying its completion, it is an unpredictable element of EOY’s music, to hit hard in the end with a reduced, arduous although truly beautiful riff. Next in turn Third Time we can find drones inspirations mixed with the echo of the dialogues, and coulping instruments, composition Or dates back to the time of formation Yul, from the early nineties, when the originator of the EOY operated under a different name. Walking Skeletons is a combination of a good although little coupled riff with advanced electronics, from which screams emerge, that over the time go into dialogues, finishing the composition in a mute operation. On a particular note deserve the following gems on the album, namely, starting with a reduced bass guitar Pony, and almost oscillating close to a post-metal climates Open. The whole plates creates an ideal, experimental whole, as it is impossible to pigeonhole, ladies and gentlemen, the work of Echoes of Yul, because how would God appeared to a man, if the devil had given him wings! Without considering find it in the web, write to the team, take care of buying the disc and at the same time support the project and enjoy the work of art from Opole!
