In studio Empty is a duo. Aaron Potter (voc., keys, guitar) and Daniel Brunet (guitar, keys, backing voc.). During the concerts it's a quartet – supported by Angelo Handabak (beats/perc.) and Kandie Lei. And as it usually happens when in a band full of men appears a woman – she plays the bass guitar.
Material put on the EP album “Open Aeon”, although not revolutionary, lets us believe in positive musical future of those Australians. Noticeable inspirations without any copying. Elaborated (in a very short time) style of their own. EP consists of six songs and two remixes. All material is well-mixed. Tracks are lightly alternating.
In Empty’s music there isn’t as many empty, unused musical spaces as it happens on Velvet Acid Christ’s albums. Big plus for musicians for ability of using sounds. Their nervous landscapes sink in one another. Spaces dove at their borders. And all this is controlled by, faking indifference and being freed from any emotions, vocal.

Empty’s “Open Aeon” is a piece of a good ambient electronic music in “empty blue” tone. In addition - distorted vocal and voices in the background telling sad stories which happens every day… And the scream. Gloomy states of mind. All alone. Torn. In the restless shade of dark blue. But for consolation you have a company, it’s right behind you…
