Herr goes first. Dark, ambient sounds, melodeclamation. The vocalist tells us a story. Hopes Die In Winter unfolds in an interesting way. With every second the atmosphere is rising to introduce us with the keyboard parts - this is Fifteen Tokens. Distant sounds, interesting keyboards accords.
Fruehlings Erwachen. Acoustic sound of the guitar combined with the keyboards transform into the march rhythms, drums, pipes that suggest knights festival. They bring us back to the Middle Ages, straight to the battlefield.
We are dragged away from the forests covered with fog by the next group - Der Arbeiter. Rhythmical, hypnotic track La Virgen De Los Hielos. Lichtgeburt is a light electronic synth with murmurs with soundsa s if from 'KWANT' in the background that remind of electronic classics Kraftwerk. Hypnotic, trance, meditative music. The last track takes us in a journey: march rhythms, bells, monotonous folly. Similar to Skinny Puppy and Dead Can Dance, but still far away from the masters.
Storm Of Capricorn- if someone likes dancing to dark electronic sounds – this is the track. Still the band doesn't enrich the genre with nothing new. Thanks to the samples of conversations you will find the elements referring to the masters of the genre here as well. The methods are so secondary that almost repulsive. After all, how many times can you listen to the same thing?
Ghost Of Breslau - the first track went unnoticed. Ambient of B class. Press the key A and lower the tone, add some hums plus the radio sound - it's none of a craft. Still, it's not enough to attract the attention of the demanding listener. Plenty of bands in this country offers similar sounds. In my opinion to attract the listener's attention one should segregate the sounds, work intelligently on the music facture to take the recipient to a journey.
In short: the band should work on their repertoire. The weakest point of the CD. The CD constitutes homogeneous atmosphere resulting from the combination of two bands: Dead Can Dance and Skinny Puppy. It's a pity that the musicians exploring still the same music regions didn't make an attempt to create something new.
