The latest album of Lacrima Negra The Flower of my Loneliness is a collection of dynamic songs made for dancing, which fans of disobliging light, but still decadent-dark music may find attractive.

How does this "darkness" manifests (although the atmosphere on the album not necessarily has to be associated with it)? First- of course- in the vocal parts. Both lyrics and vocal delivery assure us that people who listen to this kind of music surely do not oxidize their hair, do not use hair styling gel, do not get tanned in a solarium and do not wear knee-high white boots.

The album is quite humdrum, but it's got the POWER. A huge dose of energetic, multi-layer sounds, built up consequently. What's most important is that the music is surprisingly melodic and it uses acoustic instruments such as piano- not much, but still (for example on tracks 1 and 2).

Although the atmosphere doesn't change during listening of the album, not even a bit, you can't really catch your breath. Among the offered tracks we can find some really memorable masterpieces, such as The dramatic scene- calm at first, with melodic vocals, and, as it progresses it evolves into more harsh electro music.
Then we have You don't look good- frugal when it comes to lyrics, but very mature when it comes to music. Dark energy- unexpectedly risen tempo, with smuggled march rhythm. Exu caveira is hacking, but it has its charm.

In the end we have very funny song My gothic girl. Why I used such a, you may say, depreciating word? Well- just listen. Organ tune, very simple lyrics with transferred stresses and repetitions. It may seem to be a pop-culture pastiche. All music layers are in the same rhythm and drums reminiscent of Michael Jackson's Billy Jean. No one can say that this song was created with the seroius approach of a depressed goth.

Re-assuming- it's a good album for parties with lots of beer for courage. Then you just occupy the dance floor! This kind of music is also necessary. One just does not have to be inscribed with golden letters in the big book of alternative music. Sometimes it's just all about ease:)
