Those who said that the Slovenian band Laibach ended after the first few discs, could see with their own eyes that it is exactly the opposite. And those who went to the concert just because of the soundtrack for the iron sky movie, could see that the creativeness of Laibach goes further and is (perhaps even more) worthy of attention.

First and foremost, the climate. Milan Fras singer is an absolute master when it comes to building tension and emotional expression. It's been over twenty-five years since the founding of Laibach, and he still seems to be strongly, strongly believeing in the value of his words. In every single word.
For a certain aesthetic in which creates Laibach is highly debatable. Digital projections of synchronous crowds marching on behind the scenes, sharp rhythms, clothing stylized as uniforms... In short, a very clear inspiration from totalitarian systems - hence it is not surprising why Laibach was asked to create a soundtrack for a movie about Nazis from the Moon. Indeed, the whole may look a bit worrying for those who do not normally have the opportunity to come into contact with their work. Just look at it from a distance, and notice that it is rather a form of warning against the system than positive inspiration.

Noteworthy is also quite heavily exposed Mina Spiler, backing vocal, and the only woman in storage, otherwise very attractive. The male part of the audience watched in fascination at the coordinated, soft movements and mesmerizing, totalitarian-dead look. In the presence of Miss Spiler Laibach gaining a lot.

When it comes to the music, they just does not serve us any surprises - and well. Three pre-arranged elektrofons and creating on stage is the essence of Laibach creativity, for which we appreciate them. As already mentioned, the digital projection displayed behind the band complemented climate and well balanced the melody. Three encores were clear and definitive proof of the satisfaction of the audience.
Laibach course not limited to the promotion CD created for Iron Sky, as you might think because of the name of the tour (We Come In Peace). They played most of the known works, even as aged as Leben heisst Leben. Needless to say that they gained more sympathy of the audience with this?

To sum up - it was hypnotic, dark and loud. This is exactly what the fans expect and get with the best, most perfect form. If there will be Laibach concert in Poland, I would highly recommend it!
