The new Legionarii's release first of all should be appreciated by the people who consider themselves to be conesseurs of the martial (or "military" as the band members themselves suggest to call as well their music as the whole genre) industrial style. Someone, who already knows by heart everything ever recorded by Triarii and has not had enough of such music, should definitely check out what the younger legionaries can offer. Compared to Triarii, they are on hastati level, but with the young and ferocious hastati who are soon to become principes, if I were to draw the historical analogy further.
Who else might like this release? Certainly people, who are interested in, generally understood, war theme and enjoy war from the aesthetic point of view and for some reason don't want to listen to black metal. The fans of some underground subgenres of black metal should also be attracted by the German track titles such as "Ahnenerbe" and "Sieg!". Both of them, apart from having nasty names, are enjoyable musically, they have very vital and pleasant rythm.
Fans of monumental and epic atmosphere, able to appreciate the majestic neoclassical sound and powerful echoing drums, also count among people who may find this album interesting. This is the music that can stimulate a reflection, create a feeling of miss for the world of virtues, that are forever gone yet, it can mobilize to give at least a try and fight back overwhelming cosmopolitism and stagnation and preserve at least a tiny part of that world, somewhere on the bottom of one's own soul.
Legionarii's music will be also enjoyed by those, whoose beliefs are far from those considered to be 'politically correct'.
It would be pointless to write, which people would not like this type of music, because, in general, they consider it to be just a propagandist tool of certain beliefs, needless to name and won't even try to understand what's this music is all about. And that's good because it makes the whole martial (or military) genre underground enough, not to say elitist.
The Iron Legion marches on!
