"Scar Tissue" is the fifth studio album released by Lexincrypt, project initiated by hailing from Salt Lake City, Justin Cameron. It takes the listener on a journey into the deepest abyss of the human mind where he is confronted with the blackest, and yet at the same time least tangible fragments of man's psyche. Whoever survives a travel to these fathomless parts of one's own mind is fated to live with the scar.
It is the title "Scar Tissue" from the latest Lexincrypt's record which reminds of a trip to the darkest areas of the universe. Essentialy, this album contains six remixes of the above-mentioned title track, three variations on the song "Misanthrophic" and the unique "Unfaithful". Needles to say, as for any decent collection of remixes, each one here uniquely distinguishes itself from the rest and as in this case it mainly owes to the selection of artists with their individual style and approach. However, as diverse all the tracks contained on this album may seem, they belong together and create a wholeness.
Reassuming, it is also worth pointing out that the vocals stand out strongly from the instrumental section, whereas the latter creates merely a subtle background to excellently featured songs.

Track-list:

01) Scar Tissue (Mangadrive remix)
02) Scar Tissue (Little Sap Dungeothen remix)
03) Misanthropic Me (Xiescive remix)
04) Scar Tissue (C/A/T remix)
05) Scar Tissue (Exeter remix)
06) Misanthropic Me (The Ludovico Technique remix)
07) Scar Tissue (Hodr remix)
08) Unfaithful (c2.control.org remix)
09) Misanthropic Me (Sinsect remix)
10) Scar Tissue (Filament 38 remix)
