If anyone expects this album to continue the previous achievements of the group he/she may as well give up listening to it.11th Hour is a real breakthrough in Psyche's career -and it's really good! You may hear it already in the first recording - more melancholia, melody and Desperation (capital D). I'm acquainted with the earlier Darrin and Stephen Huss's achievements and I have no doubts that this is a real breakthrough in the group's history. Even without understanding the lyrics one may sense the album's mood and define what it really is. The entire album – apart from the recording '15 minutes’- is of slow pace which makes it good rather for listening than dancing to. Anders Kurendach helped Darrin to achieve a new and, in my opinion, better sound. Although all the recordings follow the same tone - climatic and melodic – one of them -‘Buried Alive’ - extinguishes itself and, as for me, it is the apogeum of the whole album. Basically, I'm not even able to say what this one has to it, but one thing is sure – it drags in like a black hole made of nothing but emotions. By the way - the album smells - which means that if you rub it, you'll release the smell of perfume. Summarizing - this is one of the best albums in the year 2005 I've heard so far and for sure it's the best Psyche's album. Darrin Huss, although not supported by Stephen, reached the dark futurepop top and I hope he will stay there.
