Tectonic Structures is a third production of Stahlfrequenz whose members are Klaus Richter and Markus Houben. It completely differs from the two albums that preceded it. The tracks last approximately 3-4 minutes. After very short intro "Inamate", the track "Maschineeurer" begins being the one which determines the atmosphere of the whole album, namely the early 90’s. For me it is a little bit boring, but maybe others would like. From my point of view Stahlrequenz want to recreate the atmosphere of dirty, smoky factories but are they really successful? For me not.
The only track which is an exception and in my opinion is worth attention is "Nothing but a machine", but wait a moment... yes, we can feel that we somehow know it, maybe Klaus and Markus also love Suicide Commando so much that they are inspired by their music too much.

Is the album poor? Maybe not... for me it lacks in originality. That’s why Tectonic Structures is placed somewhere at the bottom of my albums collection.
