Debut album of The Secret Meeting project was released at the beginning of July 2007. The project is the effect of cooperation of Collide and Dean Garcia - ex-leader of British band Curve. I don't know how did it happen that those three met in the studio, but the album "Ultrashiver" should draw one's attention. There are 10 incredible compositions on this CD : electric, melancholic, hypnotizing and sometimes psychedelic or even dizzling; the first track isn't enough, all of them must be heard ,if possible, at once.

The very first tacts introducing "Touch" are spine-chilling . Pleasant, even comforting our ears after a hard day, composition, with wonderful, delicate Karin's voice, becomes refuge from overwhelming reality. The second piece - "Am I Here?" - seems to be the right question because this album takes us on a long journey with our minds' eyes. "Beautiful Noise Machine" is another remarkable song, where the title match the composition, becuase it may seem calm, but in fact is interwoven with energetic refrain. At the end we have "Shiver X" and "Imaginate", which are also nicely relaxing and bring the same kind of magic. It is the perfect album for long and cold evenings.

The album, along with its cover, seems to be well-thought. Even though all songs are in calm and tropical tune, one can still find the same energy as presented by Collide. For some people the compositions may seem too monotonous at the beginning but I recommend to listen to it again and as a whole. The one who knows the music of the mentioned band will never say a bad word about this album.
