This Void Inside - Dusk
‘Dusk’ was the first thing I had heard by the gothic band This Void Inside. The CD contains 12 tracks, which resemble something between Orgy and HIM. All tracks have interesting lyrics, but there’s absolutely no musical freshness. While listening to ‘Dusk’, I constantly had the impression I’ve heard it all somewhere before. Band has it’s own style, the singer has a really interesting timbre, the lyrics are catchy, but that’s definetly not enough to call ‘Dusk’ something prominent. The musical borrowings are to visible to just ignore them. The band clearly lack originality. The album could catch the ear of many people, though, like for example, fans of HIM, Dope Stars Inc., Latexxx Teens, Down Below, Icon and the Black Roses, Zeromancer or Orgy.
