It's going to be 14th edition of Wrocław Industrial Festival this year and once again in November Wrocław will become a place of meetings and exchanging information between fans and artists from all over the world. As every year the Gothic Room in the medieval building of former monastery will host both famous musicians and young artists introducing fresh ideas to industrial music.
Definitely the greatest attraction of this year's festival will be Japanese project Merzbow, recognised as the most important representative of noise - the most radical genre of music avangarde. As an aesthetic opposition you will see Sol Invictus, which is one of those bands who created something different out of industrial roots - full of melody and poetry neofolk. Test Dept., pioneers of British industrial will present their modern version Test Dept: Redux, and right next to them Ian Dominick Fernow aka Prurient, American artist who gave the industrial music a new quality. Sentimental comeback to the heritage of the 80's in different form will be given by two projects referring to post-punk Black Light Ascension and 1.9.8.4.,synth minimalist Sixth June and English Splintered bringing back what was the best in the tradition of industrial noise-rock. Different versions of ambient will be presented by Polish Abandoned Asylum, English Dead Voices on Air and Shadow Biosphere, French Treha Sektori, Czech Tabor Radosti and Lithuanian artist Daina Dieva. The fans of classic industrial should be satisfied by concerts of French Cent Ans de Solitude, German Column One and Australian Last Dominion Lost. Eclecticism and pure experiments will be the domain of Polish Escape From Warsaw and Italian Mushroom's Patience. You will experience something extreme thanks to Rigor Mortiss and Trepaneringsritualen.

As a complement of the festival you will see Polish premiere of the first documentary movie about the history of industrial music -  Industrial Soundtrack For Urban Decay, during which you may meet and talk to its creators Amélie Ravalec and Travis Collins.
