The amazing Querfurt Castle will be an idyllic place of pilgrimage for all fans of dark alternative music. Its beautiful setting and fascinating morbid charm makes it definitely to one of the best locations for open air festivals. Appropriate to the ambiance and atmosphere of the castle complex with ist pretty towers, curtain walls and fortifications, there will be a huge medieval market. Signature sessions with the artists and many more surprises will complete the festival adventure.The small town of Querfurt is situated in the district Merseburg-Querfurt in Saxony-Anhalt, East Germany, which is a 45 minutes car ride from Leipzig. Querfurt is easily accessible via the motorway A38, and the silhouette of its castle will direct you the way to the Blackfield Festival!
