Bruno Kramm has been present on the dark independent music scene for over 15 yeas now. After 10 years of cooperation with Stefan Ackermann he decided to make a try and release a solo project. Here's what came out it.
First of all, one remark – Das Ich fans should rather skip this album cause they will be hugely disappointed. Bruno has decided to join synth -pop musicians and the melodies we may hear on the album Coeur” are definitely unacceptable for the orthodox industrial fans. Serene recordings, reminding VNV Nation a bit, are “club – friendly”and they would definitely be accepted on the dancefloor very fast. The lyrics are, as one of my friends described them, created for the gloomy romantic movies. Well, but the lyrics must be sung... and here the surprise of my life... Bruno Kramm can sing! What's more, he can sing very well! However, one has to get used to his high - pitched vocal. The album is quite balanced, apart from one outstanding one [not necessarily as far as the quality is concerned, but rather style], namely „Ich Ahne dich”, where we may hear the Obsc(y)re vocalist. The album as a whole is electronic, good for dancing, but in general of average quality. „Coeur” is a rarity for sure , especially for Das Ich fans, yet you should not count on similar tones on the album. It can be placed somewhere between synth -pop and EBM and it may even be worth listening for its originality ... but you should not expect any revelation.
