Formation Harvest Rain after recent “Night's Glow” comes back with a new album. “Blood Hymns” dissolves in the listeners ears with moderate warmth and delicate shade of anxiety in blood colour. Thompkins brothers sound again very cold and new-wave like. This time their neo-folk is rather soothing, comforting. Seldom brings dark sorrow. The wall of sound on “Blood Hymns” splits before the listener, inviting one into its spaces.... Blood invites dream to a seductive dance.... To dream together, slowly, on that level of consciousness, which only some can reach.... Harvest Rain develops then ( in comparison to their last proposition) its psychedelic folk side. Crudeness of the journey of “Night's Glow” has changed into definitely warm redness of spaces of “Blood Hymns”.
