The lyrics and sound of the first track "In My Darkness" emanate a bright light, shining from within. Band leader Martin Engler says, "This is like us shining a light for ourselves while the world around us is drowning in chaos." Solidarity and tolerance, charity and self-love: "Darkness" is about all that, which has carried the ever-growing Raven Community through the storms and lifted them from the lows over the years. "Darkness" bursts forth with momentous power, whilst simultaneously bringing with it more intimate moments.
