On released once again "Life" were placed 2 bonus songs, namely "Insects (HexRx Remix)" and "Insects (Gentleman Junkie Remix)". Mr.Kitty in "North American" version of the album presented these remixes, which are a nice addition to the already well-known tracks issued yet on the album in 2013.
After the first two tracks, "Insects" and "Heaven", until the very end it is hard to break through initial, amazing effect. Other pieces, for a change, are kept in a calmer pace, giving moments of respite after the explosion of sounds and feelings that are beginning the whole. Because you have to admit, the first 2 tracks already at stage of exploring this release leave you speechless for good.
Peculiar memento mori which is carried by "Insects" causes that it is a very poignant in its simplicity song, telling about fears of death. This is followed by "Heaven", which is unusually melodic and emotional. As one of the most beautiful tracks, its charm is due to the fact, it includes so touching love’s declaration. And its delicate construction causes one is tempted to listen to it again and again.
The "Life" release combines childish anxiety and desires with a certain element of rebellion that can be easily identified with idea of man, who does not undergo the twist of fate easily. Reluctance against inextricable destiny is intertwined here with being antagonistic towards own mortality.
Certainly this is not a monochromatic album. Kept in a convention of childhood memories, interspersed by complementary to each other sorrows and joys, it is a part of making settlements with oneself.
Sometimes dark, sometimes foggy in a vague way, discovers one more time that fanciful world from land of the childhood memories.
