The long awaited new album of The Cure, which still has no title confirmed as for now, will be postponed to 13 october 2008. The long wait for the fans will be shortened a bit since at 13 september after the four new singles, also a 4 song remix EP will be released named ''Hypnogogic States''.
On this EP the creme de la creme of the most hot alternative acts are brought together who see The Cure as their favourite band. Among the songs is a remix of ''The Only One'' by Jared Leto (30 Seconds to Mars), ''Freakshow'' remixed by Jade Puget (AFI), ''Sleep When I'm Dead'' remixed by Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) and ''The Perfect Boy'' remixed by Pete Wentz & Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy).
