Dark industrial and EBM duo Siva Six started in 1997 under the name Wintermute with the following members: Evi (keyboards), Z (Vocals) and Noid (keyboards). In 1998, they contributed the cover version of “Pornography" to Equinox records compilation “A Tribute To The Cure". They released 2 demo cds as Wintermute and along the way Evi left the band. Noid and Z changed the name to Siva Six and at the same time they both toured the world as keyboard players with one of the top Greek bands. Italian label Decadance Records finally signed the band in, and in March 2005, Siva Six released “Rise New Flesh". They supported such a bands like Ministry and Juno Reactor. At the end of 2006, Noid quit and he was replaced by U-RI.But now he is replaced by Herr Khaos.And then finally in 2008 there was a re-release of the sold out cult debut, now called Rise new flesh -flesh and will resurrected. Label Decadance decided to add a full length remix album to it. Remix CD was mastered by X FUSION. Rise New Flesh was mastered by John Rivers (Dead Can Dance ,Sopor Aeternus, Buzzcocks). The remix album brings you energizing mixture of industrial metal(remix by Victor Love,Blood,Kami Plastik), powernoise,fast EBM and TBM which won't let your ears take a rest. On “Rise new flesh" heavy industrial sounds meet dark and horror ambient.Like In Extremis, which begins with voices of damneds and then goes into a sharp number; grisly Deep Black Well, ending unreal hellish puffing.Ten work is connected with contrasting killer Nexus6. Sometimes you can hear sampled monologues from films-like: You do not know the power of the dark side from Star Wars. The vocalists is shouthing out texts like a fanatical leader of some paramilitary organization. The whole album would be a good soundtrack to the gore movies-120 days (in slavery) or to the gloomy film based on cyberpunk novel about a totalitarian country of the future. Both gentlemen are serious competition for their native artist Reaper.
