Psycho-folk singer, noisy-metal musician, and a veteran of the Latvian electronic scene. The guys get together, aren't they?. The result? Antarktida is a industrial-ambient　project　with light trace of noise and　fragments of vocals (read　"frenzied howling"). There is no secret that in the long run, the music on 'Homage... ' has not thrilled me, but that does not mean that the record can not be liked. There are some quite nice moments, such as pure ambient 'Icicles' or climate 'Fumes'. However, the title track which is the result of the best features of all three men (or at least I think so, because I do not know the individual creativeness of solo artists). 'Hoamge the Antarctic and Fredom' is a crazy trip to the place where shamans still bring in a state of ecstasy to celebrate their rites in honor of the old gods and ancestors. The next verses sung (!?) by the shaman accompanied in a cacophony of sounds for sure will please fans of both ritual and noisy tracks. The atmosphere of months in isolation can be felt with the occasion of the song 'Letter', which sounds like a screeching radio loop at which someone makes the hard trying to catch any signal.

But after all, the album as a whole does not convince me by the end. Besides the ecstatic song number 5, few remain in memory, on the other hand it can work in favor of the album, which again and again is allowing to explore him again.
