Vagueness - this word fits best as a description of Cybercide's debut album. Starting from the cover art, suggesting that the disc holds nothing else, but antivirus software, finishing with the last track on the album, "Adrenaline", which sounds like an absolutely recycled track. Nine future-pop tracks from this album are a whole, but they do not present anything new to the genre. While listening to the album, I felt several times that I am listening to VNV Nation with some rotten vocals (in a few tracks they can really get on your nerves).
The only songs that are a bit better than the rest is the dance track "Searchlight" and the chillout "Isolate" with a female vocal. The others gave me nothing but pain upon the second listening. "Adrenaline" remains a treat only for the biggest and most loyal fans of the genre....
