26th April 1986, Chernobyl, Ukraine. In the middle of the night the whole area is being shuddered by enormous explosion. The forth reactor of Chernobyl's nuclear power plant has just exploded. These events were an inspiration while to create the third studio recording Der Bleue Reiter "Nuclear Sun". Each tone is pulsing with emotions that must have been felt by people,awakening at night by explosion bang of unknown source,being evacuated from their houses in rush. Distinct fear, sorrow and first of all lostness. This album shows that the neoclassical melodies combined with distinct drums, melorecitation and choral singing, appears to be a universal language, in which step by step the story of explosion is being told. "Nuclear Sun" is a true masterpiece,which wont allow anyone to stay indifferent. Directly in result of the catastrophy in Chernobyl 30 people were killed, about 200 fell for radiation sickness. In the range of 30km from the power plant over 350 thousand people were evacuated, making a closed protection zone. For the next two days Russian Authorities are hiding the truth from the whole world.
