Douglas McCarthy, frontman of such projects as Nitzer Ebb or Fixmer / McCarthy is currently recording his first solo album.
Album was supposed to come out some time ago and be titled Life Is Sucking The Life Out Of Me, that was also recorded first single, titled Hey. Unfortunately, project was aborted for legal issues.
Ultimately the album with the different title Kill Your Friends, will be released by Pylon Records. Kill Your Friends will be available in a limited edition of 300 copies, containing hand signed vinyl with a bonus CD, available only by Pylon Records website. On the bonus CD will appear three bonus tracks and a few special remixes, that won’t be available on commercial CD. The comercial version of CD will contain 12 standard and 3 bonus tracks. Special t-shirts will be also available via Pylon web.
