32Crash is back on Earth! Three travellers in time - Len Lemiere, Jan D'Hooghe and Jeal-Luc De Meyer - have just returned from their recent intergalactic mission. They will share their journey report with the world on 21.10
Jean-Luc De Meyer, (Front 242 vocalist) and his gang are going to lead us through 20 tracks of this album, which describes in detail the world in year 2112. Aliens dwelling on Earth. Desolated space colonies. Telepathic warnings of space threats. Advanced machinery that replicates humanlike life forms. Toxic fallout covering whole continents. Mysterious shifts of paradigms and quantum leaps. Random travels in time. Killer robots. Billions of flies. Invisibility invented. Chemical value of human body. 32Crash utilizes Y2112Y as a key that opens the door to an alternative musical universe, where futuristic electronic sounds, led by Jean-Luc De Meyer's unrivaled vocal talent, collide with electric vibrations and minimalistic retro-punk. It's a beautiful piece of art, where three human beings have tried to combine futuristic technologies with experiments on sound, extravagant ideas and haunting vocals. This album introduces freedom and freshness that reminds us that art can touch another dimension when it's practiced with heart, sarcasm and sense of humour.
In case of 32Crash one can expect something unexpected. And that would be right. In limited edition the CD with Y2112Y is supplemented by another CD, labelled AD MMCXII. This bonus album contains 18 remixes of tracks from Y2112Y, produced by band members, who took their experiments with sound even further.
