Three years after their debut "All Of White Horizons" (Alfa Matrix / Alchera Visions), the Polish Post New Romantic band Agonised By Love returns with the brand new album entitled "Lovesick Society". The trio describes the new production in their own words as " ...sophisticated electronic pop, ...even more romantic and nostalgic than the previous album, ... pure soul exhibitionism". The release date is set for April 2008.
The album foretaste is the maxi-single "Southern Sun" which is due to be released on February the 29th. The 4-track CD contains both single and album versions of the title track, the single version of "Shelter" and a remarkable remix of "Aspetto Solo Te" contributed by the polish Electroclash band Clicks.
"Southern Sun" will be released through Alchera Visions as a strictly limited Special Digipak Edition with only 150 hand-numbered copies available.
The maxi-single can only be purchased either via band's homepage www.agonisedbylove.com or by simply sending an e-mail to [email protected] with "Southern Sun" as subject. At some point in the future the CD will be also available as a digital version on main music download websites.
"Southern Sun" was mixed and mastered by Daniel Kleczynski (Fading Colours). Cover design by Jaroslaw Kubicki and Bartosz Hervy (Rumours About Angels multimedia project).
The next opportunity to see Agonised By Love live on stage is the 19th of April 2008 at Progresja Club in Warsaw, Poland, where when the band will support Diorama and Faderhead.
