Some of you at times want a rest from the aggressive, sometimes tiring music, don't you? Quite recently I've decided that I need something to “sleep with”, an album which would calm me down. I asked my friend to recommend me something and here it is – Angelzoom. - the fulfillment of my wishes. „Back In the Moment” is the second single of the “Angelzoom” CD. We've got four versions of the title track, additionally one track of the longplay and one brand new track. The band is a relatively new one, however it wins on the charts - and not only the alternative ones. I wrote the band , but actually it's a side project of Claudia Uhle of X-perience. Her, as one may poetically describe, angel like vocals create the ethereal and very delicate mode. Without aggression, negative emotions, pain and other, usually present, motives. Let's concentrate on the MCD. Apart from the lovely version „Back In the Moment” played on the piano, you will find the alternative radio version of „Roedernallee”. The tracks which are not remixes or other versions of the title track match to the rest in the mode and while listening you won't have the impression of some sort of discrepancy. Surely, you must have noticed that I omitted two tracks. I did it on purpose – I always discuss the best at the end. Joachim Witt, known to some of you, worked together with Claudia on this single. For me, it's a great advantage of Angelzoom, because he is one of my favourite German vocalists whom I appreciate a lot. The most recent of his greatest hits is „Die Flut [feat. Peter Heppner]. Joachim sings on the track „Back In the Moment” and this is the best and the most emotional version which is included in the CD. This version was additionally remixed and called „crossover ambient mix”[ but seriously it has little to do with crossover or ambient, yet it is more ethereal than the rest] Generally as a band, Angelzoom works like a tranquillizer. Sometimes it's worth changing everyday music set and I strongly recommend a change to this delicate, gentle creation. For „Back In the Moment” – 70%.
