An artist who claims his work to be a satanic youthful acid, knows how to grab attention. Ascii.Disko comes from Madrit, and it is unbelievable that he is again up to make a fuss about dark electronic music scene.
What he creates is something between Jimi Tenor and Vangelis’ works. Still the sound is hard to define, it goes from minimal acid to all that danceable beats which are not easy to follow. Vast, endless soundscapes, mixed with energetic beats and dance electronics, can greatly attract the audience.
The project serves good vibrating tunes, which oscillate near the core music hits but are enveloped in sadness, which seems to last eternally.
The fourth album is a musical journey which begins in the truest hell of deep, dark thoughts where solitude is the only companion. First tracks are heavily balanced between nostalgic and ambient vibes, which then turn into a floor blaster.
The key to success is to combine sounds which show the ultimate electronic spectrum of sounds that can either make you cry or make your body move into a particular bounce.
Hypnotizing vocals and energetic beats that twist your feet – there is no wonder Ascii.Disko can storm the club with such disquieting vibes.
"Black Orchid: From Airlines To Lifelines" gives a range of various tracks which catch the senses with changing rhythms and astounding battery, serving a naive and sublime touch. A gem among all those music clones made of worthless gravel that gashes the listener’s heart.
A very sensuous piece with almost melting beats which make you shiver, it is broadening barriers between music styles. A material which can bring back fine memories. A must-have one, set in the middle of nowhere by a first class dj demonizing himself.
Let yourself get captured into a mystical experience, into a pulsating phenomenon which can give you goose bumps.
It makes you feel like being in a chill out lounge. Ethereal atmosphere leading you through the smoky corridors of a fabulous music club causes outstanding feelings. It easily creates that type of one-off atmosphere you can usually sense at 3 am during a party – tired, exhausted but terribly happy.
