Biography:

The story of Biomekkanik began in 2009 with the release of the debut album, "State Of Perfection". Since the release Biomekkanik has been touring as much as possible, welding the three man band into the well oiled musical machinery they are today. The long, growing list of club shows played across Europe contain highlights as supporting act for VNV Nation, Nitzer Ebb and Vive la fete as well as performances at well known festivals as WGT and ElectriXmas to name a few. Not to mention that Biomekkanik had the honor to be the first ”real” band to perform live at one of Europe’s most important techno clubs – Tresor, in Berlin.
The success of the album has also attracted several remix jobs for bands as Client and Armageddon Dildos.

Tracing many years of experience with electronic music, both as a band member and as a producer, Christer Hermodsson brings together in his experience from bands such as S.P.O.C.K and Sista Mannen På Jorden, coupled with the harsher and heavier sound from producing bands like And One, Cat Rapes Dog and Mr Kite. Balancing tight electronic rhythms with a backdrop of guitar influenced aggression & melodic breaks, which is quite simply unlike anything else!
The idea for Biomekkanik started out in 2001 when Christer Hermodsson got the opportunity to do a metal production Mr Kite. This provided the last piece of the puzzle of what Biomekkanik should be.
Intense touring with  S.P.O.C.K in Europe and US and producing other bands delayed the release of a full length album – finally realized in 2009.

The wait for a second album came to an end. " Violently Beautiful" it is very own mix of electro and rock, with one of the strongest voices of the genre Christer Hermodsson to guide the listener through the journey. The temper driven, angst ridden layout of the music sets a certain cinematic mood.
During the creation of this album the whole band joined in on the production and are now as tight in the studio as they are on stage.
