Pioneer of noise and industrial, member of Church of Satan- Boyd Rice, a.k.a. NON, has announced his first album of new material since 2002's 'Children of the Black Sun'.
The new release, 'Back to Mono', comes out November 6th by Mute Records, and contains new recordings as well as previously unreleased material dating back to the late 70’s. The producers are Cold Cave's frontman Wes Eisold and Rice's longtime collaborator, the sound artist and poet Z'ev. Eisold also released by his own Heartworm Press Rice's memoir 'Twilight Man'.

He said that 'Back to Mono' was his 'attempt to demonstrate that the genre [he] created still had room to grow; that it could still be re-imagined.'

Back to Mono features a cover of the Normal's 'Warm Leatherette', which was Mute Records' first release ever in 1978.
