CORVUS CORAX, pioneers of modern medieval music, are approaching a turning point in their 22 years long band history: after several line-up changes the band is now presenting itself in their best of shapes yet and is about to enter musical virgin soil.
Their all new album "SVERKER" contains unforeseen treasures from Scandinavian and Celtic origins. Starting past November, the band is on club tour with "SVERKER" extensively, presenting a new live show, combining powerful and partly martial songs of Viking heritage with dance music and ballads. The typical CORVUS CORAX sound of bagpipes, a huge hurdygurdy, cittern and a large variety of percussion instruments will merge all of these musical styles together brilliantly. In addition, as experienced fans of CORVUS CORAX might already know, new and especially built instruments can be seen on stage during this tour.

Released on Behssmokum and available January 31th, 2012.
