Out on February 22 via Alfa Matrix the debut album of the Swedish project Cynical Existence, "Come Out And Play". With Cynical Existence, Alfa Matrix proudly presents one of the most promising dark elektro bands of the moment hailing from Sweden.
A new harsh EBM project behind which hides none other than Fredrik Croona - founder and lead vocalist of the aggrotech/industrial act Project Rotten and former vocalist of dark electro/industrial act Menschdefekt. On this debut-album "Come Out And Play", Cynical Existence offers a mixture of EBM with a harsher industrial tone while infusing more personal emotions into the compositions and stripping away the heavily processed vocals. A powerful EBM sound where melodic synth lines collide with "less is more" music arrangements and haunted by stand-out vocal angst. Cynical Existence is above all a question of dense malevolent and intriguing atmospheres, carrying you through a disturbing journey into Fredrik's dark soul and tortured mind. Mostly based on personal feelings and experiences, this project seems to be the perfect catharsis to his boiling personality... So just "come out and play" Cynical Existence's game, open yourself and let your darker side shine... Sadness, anger, deceit, abuse, failure, perversion...: so many ingredients guaranteeing you the ultimate dark and sinful experience.
Cynical Existence is a new hard elektro entity revealing determination, aggressiveness and attitude which will surely please all fans of bands in, the likes of [SITD], SUICIDE COMMANDO, GRENDEL, VIRTUAL EMBRACE, AGONOIZE, etc. Songs like "I'm Broken", "Face Of God", "Paradox" or yet "Insecure" will no doubt confirm this on the dancefloors...
The album also will be released as a limited deluxe carton box edition with a bonus CD featuring some exclusive tracks and collaborations as well as remixes by bands like C-LEKKTOR, KANT KINO, DE_TOT_COR, PROJECT ROTTEN, NOLONGERHUMAN, MARI CHROME, R.I.P., etc.
