DYM - The Swarm
On Friday (February 25th), DYM will release their new stuff called "The Swarm". The album includes 6 new tracks and a bonus section of 10 remixes. After a serie of excellent remixes in 2009 for CeDigest, Grendel, Acylum, Unter Null and C-Lekktor. Again merging the sequenced sounds of harsh-EBM with lements of breakcore and glitching,
DYM draw influences from "old-school" industrial acts like fellow-Canadians Skinny Puppy and the rhythm and noise of Venetian Snares to create their own unique brand of dark and quirky electronica. "The Swarm" is an extended EP/ mini-album of 6 brand new tracks plus a colossal bonus section of no less than 10 remixes come from top electro-industrial scene names like Amduscia, C-Lekktor, Preemptive Strike 0.1, Encephalon, Fractured and Die Sektor.Released on NoiTek Records.
