Biography:

Berlin City Industrial – this is how Berlin-based band Formalin describes its unique sound. Formalin are experts at provocation and polarization. It is their decided goal to shock, offend and to document urban life in all its decrepit glory: sex, dirt, deterioration, destruction, fashion and arts, humankind in all its facets and the longing for the extreme. The music is direct, forceful and hard – a sound that excellently depicts the real life in Formalin’s hometown of Berlin. Formalin understand their music as a logical reflection of their present reality and life in an urban metropolis – with all the subsequent extremes and emotions.
