The trio Hot Rain, after they released demo three years ago, now presents an EP “Crown of Emotions”. It's melodious music of electro/synth pop genre.

Hot Rain was formed in 2002 due to initiative of Mariusz Skarbiński. At first they got their inspiration from such bands as Dead Can Dance, Faithless or Massive Attack, but it's over now. Presently they sound like Covenant and VNV Nation. The music of Hot Rain consists of cold though melodious compositions that resemble the atmospheric electro from North Europe.

The first sounds of „For Your Peace” remind of „Enjoy the Silence” by Depeche Mode. In turn the vocal of Iwona is very similar to female vocal of Tristesse de la Lune. „Frozen Flower” would constitute a perfect single. Just as „The Past”. Melody, melody, melody... And electro rhythms.

„Crown of Emotions” is 22 minutes of interesting music. Already the first listening proves that musicians get their inspiration from the artists of electro and synth pop, but do not copy them. Basing on synthesizers and female vocal they make interesting, new quality.

The presentation of Hot Rain in local TV in Stettin was very successful and the band got first fans. Let's hope that thanks to EP „Crown of Emotions” Hot Rain will get new listeners.
