Insekt was created 1989 by Mario Vaerewijck  and Eric Van Wonterghem, members of the  Belgian 80's EBM legends Vomito Negro and Klinik. Since that time strong rhythm, harsche  vocals, breaking down samples and melody lines, stand as synonyms for insekt.

Now the two finally again common time are working hard for a new studio album, which will be released on 12 May under the Noise Terror Productions, label of the Suicide Commando Masterminds Johan Van Roy. On the album, which is called "Teen Machine", one will not only find the EBM boards, but also some devised compositions, which reminds nearly of Nine inch Nails. .To present their new album Insekt also will go on tour with Suicide Commando.
